Management Profile

Derek K. Spitzmacher, P.Eng.

Derek Spitzmacher is a Registered Professional Engineer with extensive experience in all aspects of pipeline and facilities integrity and maintenance including stress corrosion cracking (SCC) management, in-line inspection program management, defect assessment, and overall project management for all pipeline diameter projects.

Derek has extensive field experience and expertise in the Integrity Management and Assessment of major pipelines and systems. He has a proven track record of managing complex pipeline and facilities integrity and maintenance projects, providing clients with cost effective and practical strategies to manage and mitigate potential integrity threats without compromising safety or quality.

Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) Technicians

Pinnacle has long-term professional relationships with a number of NDE vendors and contractors with extensive experience in pipeline integrity. These vendors are well versed in the data collection and assessment requirements for pipeline defects and site information.

We can assist you with creating a quality integrity project team along with recommending NDE technologies required for your field inspection program. Pinnacle can also provide comprehensive data collection standards and reporting requirements as per client request.
